Amal Laassel is a partner in the Orlando office of Quintairos, Prieto, Wood & Boyer, P.A. where she concentrates her practice on immigration, business litigation and general civil litigation.
Ms. Laassel has been named Florida’s Legal Elite Up and Comers by Florida Trend magazine. Florida Legal Elite represents the top 2% of attorneys practicing in the State of Florida. Attorneys recognized through this award exemplify a standard of excellence in their profession.
Ms. Laassel was also selected as a “Women Who Mean Business” and "40 under 40" nominee by the Orlando Business Journal.
Ms. Laassel earned her Bachelor of Arts magna cum laude in political science from the University of Central Florida. While attending college, she was a member of the UCF Trial Team and the Golden Key and Order of Omega honoraries.
Ms. Laassel earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Florida Fredric G. Levin College of Law. During law school, Ms. Laassel was a member of the Jessup Moot Court Team and served as Executive Research Editor for the Florida Journal of International Law.
Ms. Laassel is admitted to practice in the State of Florida and the U.S. Middle District of Florida. She is an active member of the Florida Bar, Orange County Bar Association, and the Defense Research Institute.
Additionally, Ms Laassel has committed herself to local charitable causes, including the Central Florida Chapter of the Susan G. Komen Foundation.
Ms. Laassel speaks Arabic, French, and Spanish.
